JoSAA Counseling 2020: 5th round result will be released shortly . The Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA will announce the fifth round seat allotment result today i.e. on November 3. Candidates can see the results on the official website – – after the declaration of the result. Results are expected after 8 pm. In the previous round, however, the results were declared at 10 pm instead. Students should note, this is the last round where they have the option of exit from the seat allocation process. No exit will be allowed after round 6.

Will be able to confirm till 5 November ; Based on the seat allotment result of the fifth round, the candidates will be able to give their confirmation by November 5 at 5 pm for the allotted seats. Also, based on the confirmation of the candidates, the authority will issue the confirmation of the seats of the 5th round on the next day i.e. November 6 at 8 pm. Apart from this, the candidates will be able to withdraw from their allotted seats (Withdrawal) till 6 November.

JoSAA Counseling 2020:

6th round will start from 9 November . The 6th session of the JoSAA seats allotment will be held from November 9 for admission to the academic session 2020-21 at the top engineering institutes of the country. Under the admission process, this last round will run till 13 November. At the same time, the candidates will have to verify all the submitted documents in physical mode. Keep visiting the official website of the respective institutes for updates related to the admission.

First the candidates will have to go to the official website.

Scroll down to the opening and closing rank on the home page.

From the drop down, select Round Number, Institute Type, Institute Name and Course and Academic Program.

The result of the 5th seat allotment will be seen on the screen.

Download the result and take a print out of it.

The Join Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) announced some changes in the admission process this year. This time instead of the seven seat allotment round, Josa will hold six entry rounds this year. The purpose of doing this is to complete the admission process before the Diwali holidays. This year is another change to the admission process. Last year, students had to physically report to the allotted institute to confirm their seats, this year this process will be conducted online.
