BCCL Recruitment 2021: Bharat Coking Coal Limited is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited with its headquarter in Dhanbad, India. It was incorporated in January, 1972 to operate coking coal mines operating in the Jharia and Raniganj Coalfields and was taken over by the Government of India on 16 October 1971.

Vacancies:
There are total 33 vacancies of General Duty Medical Officers and Specialists. The vacancies for GDMOs and Specialty-wise break-up of vacancies in BCCL are indicated below.
- General Duty Medical Officer : 19 posts
- Specialist : 14 posts
Eligibility Criteria:
GDMOs – candidates should have pass in MBBS from recognized Institute/ College approved by Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
Specialists – candidates should have pass in MBBS from recognized Institute/ College approved by Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council with recognized Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma of National Board (DNB) /Post Graduate Diploma with 03 Years post qualification experience connected with Specialty from a hospital/clinic as on date of notification. (For General Medicine – Minimum qualification is PG Degree/Diploma of National Board (DNB) with minimum 3 years experience).
Medical fitness:
The engagement shall be subject to medical fitness to be certified by the Company Medical Officer. The Medical Officer shall use his/ her own discretion as to the scope of the general physical examination in each case; get a history of present and past illnesses and treatment being undertaken, if any. Thereafter he/she shall judge cases on their merits taking into consideration the factors of age, prevalence of diseases and prospective duties of the temporary contractual appointees. The main object of medical examination is to secure continuous effective service from them during the temporary contract period.
Age Limit:
The candidates should have maximum age limit is 65 years of age are eligible for apply to the post. The age limit and age relaxation for the post is as per the government norms. So the aspirants who are interested to apply for the post can check the SECL website for more details.

BCCL Selection Process:
- The mode of selection will be based on personal Interview through Physical/Video Conference. Date and time of Interview will be communicated through candidate’s registered e-mail and also published on BCCL Website.
- Selection of GDMOs/Specialists is subject to character and antecedent verification of the candidate, which would be done post appointment. In case, any discrepancy or concealment of information is found, the contract period of such GDMOs/Specialists will be terminated.
