Farmer's Protest ; SC will give order tomorrow

Farmers protest new update : Center gives written assurance to farmers on crop prices. The Central Government has given a written proposal to the farmer leaders, which states that the MSP i.e. the minimum support price will remain in the new agricultural laws. At the same time, there has been a demand from the farmers that the government should withdraw these laws. Farmers’ organizations had said that they would take a decision on the proposal from the government. Earlier on Tuesday, Home Minister Amit Shah also called a meeting with farmer leaders, but that too was fruitless. The farmers are strictly adamant on their demand.

The central government has sent a proposal to the farmers, in which the amendments that the government wants to bring, have been mentioned in writing. The government has also assured to make major changes in the mandi system and the APMC Act. According to the government’s proposal, the Electricity (Amendment) Bill 2020 will not be brought. The farmers had said that this law is against their interest, while the government argued that it was bringing this law to monitor the sharing of power.
