The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced a revised schedule for its undergraduate and postgraduate entrance exams. This central university’s entrance tests will now begin on June 11. According to PTI, the university’s official statement states, “The vice-chancellor (Najma Akhtar) has very generously approved to reschedule the dates of entrance examinations… in light of the extension in the final day of filing CUET form and the current regular examination of CBSE.”
While entrance exams for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses will begin on June 11, they will end on July 8, 2022.Jamia millia islamia recently extended the registration date for undergraduate and postgraduate enrolment to 2022. Candidates have until May 25, 2022 to apply for Jamia’s undergraduate and graduate programmes.
The institute is adopting CUET scores as a qualifying criterion, and has previously indicated that CUET will be used to admit students to 10 courses. JMI began accepting online applications on April 14, 2022. Candidates should also keep in mind that if they are interested in Jamia Milia Islamia’s programmes and have applied for them through CUET, they will be required to fill out the JMI registration form on the university examinations website until May 25, 2022.
