Ration card , Aadhar card linking ; Last date today. Today is the last date to link your Ration card with Aadhar card .If you are not linked till now then do it as soon as possible because today is the last date . If someone not linked their cards then they are not eligible to take the food grains from the Public Distribution System(PDS). The Union Minister of Consumer Affairs , Food and ration make it clear earlier that not a single needy will be deprived from the right of taking food in this covid-19 pandemic .
Due to which earlier government extend the last date of linking card , and today is the last day for that . Both offline and online method are available for linking it.

For online method :
Visit the official Aadhaar linking website.
Click on ‘Start Now’. Go ahead and enter your address details.
Choose the benefit type from the given options as a ration card.
Now you have to choose the name of the scheme.
Enter the ration card number, your Aadhaar number, email address and mobile number.
OTP will be sent to your mobile number. After entering the OTP you will receive a notification informing you of the completion of your application process.
After this, your application will be verified and after successful verification your Aadhar card will be connected to the ration card.
For offline method:
Visit the PDS center or ration shop near you.
Take photocopy of Aadhaar card, passport size photo of head of family and ration card for all your family members.
If your bank account is not linked to your Aadhaar, you will need to submit a copy of your passbook.
Submit all applicable documents to the PDS shop along with a copy of your Aadhaar card number.
After submitting all the documents, an SMS will be sent to the mobile number registered in your Aadhaar.
You will get an additional SMS as soon as the ration card Aadhaar link is completed.
On linking successfully via online or offline mode , you will be able to take food grains every month and it is not matter where are you living.
