Recently the Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the establishment of National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to conduct Common Eligibility Test (CET) for non-technical group C&B posts, 10, 12th and graduate. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given its approval to bring about a change reform in the recruitment process for central government job.
National Recruitment Agency(NRA) will be formed to conduct CET exam for recruitment to Public Sector Banks (IBPS) , Indian Railways and other non-technical posts. The CTET will cover the first phrase of the prelims exam, which was earlier conducted by IBPS, SSC And RRB . The CET will be only Conducted for recruitment in Government jobs. Eligibility tets will not be conducted for CTET , STETE , and TET exam.

More than 2.5 crore Government job aspirants will take benefit from CET to be held by the NRA – said the Union minister Jitendra Singh . A set budget of ₹ 1517.57 crores has been assigned by the Central Government for the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) . Apart from Staff Selection Commission, Railway Recruitment Boards and Bank Exam conducting bodies, the CET Score will also be used by Public Sector Undertaking (PSUs) and private bodies said the Union Minister Mr Jitendra Singh.
As per the latest NRA CET news, the Common Eligibility Test will be conducted twice every year. Your CBT Score for CET will remain valid until three years, which means you can appear for the next level of SSC, RRB & Banking exams.
