WhatsApp Pay Feature ; Now make money transactions through WhatsApp Pay. After a long wait, the feature of WhatsApp Pay has gone live in India. That is, now you will be able to transact money through WhatsApp. The company said in a tweet, ‘From today, users of India will be able to send money through WhatsApp. This is a secure method of payment and sending money from it is as easy as sending a message. In fact, WhatsApp was only waiting for approval of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) for this service in India, which has now been received.
It is a payment service of UPI-based WhatsApp, which was testing in India since February. Now it has been released for all users. Through this, users can link their UPI-enabled bank accounts and send money through WhatsApp. WhatsApp supports all popular banks like HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis Bank and Airtel Payments.

How to set this feature on whatsapp : First of all, it is important that you update WhatsApp. Open WhatsApp after the update. Now tap on the menu or three dot icon on the right. Here you will see a new option of payment. After going to payment, you have to tap on Add Payment Method. Now tap on Accept and Continue.
Now you will get a list of banks, After selecting the bank, your number (linked to the bank account) will be verified. An SMS will come to your number for verification. So keep in mind that your WhatsApp number should be the same which is linked to the bank account. After the verification process is complete, you have to set a UPI PIN, which is used at the time of payment.
Sending money via WhatsApp is as easy as sending a message or photo. For this, open WhatsApp and go to the contact you want to send money to. Now when you tap on the attached icon below, the option of payment will also appear along with Gallery and Documents. Now type the money you want to send. With this you can also write Remark. Now after putting UPI PIN, the money will go away.
